Leadership Academy 2012 Short Report

This evaluation report documents the success of an intensive leadership development program designed to help professionals working in children’s mental health and human services become more effective change agents. The four-day residential program, held in Santa Fe, New Mexico, in 2012, brought together 48 diverse participants to develop key leadership competencies through a combination of personalized training, peer group sessions, experiential exercises, and faculty consultation. Evaluation results demonstrated significant positive impacts across multiple measures, with participants reporting increased confidence in their leadership abilities, improved skills for creating shared vision and managing adaptive change, and enhanced preparation for taking strategic risks to improve services for children and families.
