Disparities in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Services and Supports

This web page presents a comprehensive resource guide series to address disparities in intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) services and supports. The site focuses on helping unserved and underserved populations—including racial and ethnic minorities, individuals with limited English proficiency, and those in rural or urban underserved areas—who face greater barriers to accessing quality IDD services. Using a disability disparities framework, the site categorizes content around five key areas: availability, accessibility, acceptability, quality, and utilization of services, with the goal of helping AIDD-funded programs implement policy and practice changes to reduce these disparities.
