The Curricula Enhancement Module Series is a comprehensive educational resource developed by the National Center for Cultural Competence in partnership with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to help public health faculty integrate cultural and linguistic competence into their existing curricula. The series focuses on four key content areas and provides faculty with a structured framework of knowledge, skills, and awareness components, along with relevant materials, articles, publications, and multimedia resources. Additionally, it offers instructional and self-discovery strategies to support effective teaching and learning, making it a valuable tool for enhancing cultural competency education in public health programs.

“Suggested Strategies for Incorporation of Cultural and Linguistic Competence into Training Programs,” an additional resource, is a comprehensive framework that emphasizes the importance of systematic, institution-wide approaches to cultural competency that involve faculty, staff, students, and community partners in creating more inclusive and effective healthcare training programs. Both resources are available below.
