Colin Stewart, MD, is the training director for the Child and Adolescent Residency Training Program as well as the clerkship director for the Georgetown University School of Medicine’s psychiatry clerkship.
He also provides clinical care at both Georgetown and Mary’s Center, a nonprofit community health center that serves a primarily Central American immigrant population. At Georgetown, he also sees couples, individuals and families for psychotherapy.
Dr. Stewart both teaches and supervises medical students, psychiatry residents, and child and adolescent psychiatry fellows at both Georgetown and Mary’s Center.
He is also very involved with promoting diversity and inclusion in medical education and currently serves on the AADPRT Diversity and Inclusion Committee, the MedStar GME Working Group for Racial Justice, and the Department of Psychiatry’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee .
