This System of Care Self-Assessment Tool is a comprehensive evaluation instrument developed by Georgetown University’s National Technical Assistance Center for Children’s Mental Health to help states, tribes, territories, and communities assess their progress in expanding the system of care approach for children’s mental health services. The tool guides users through a structured rating process across five key strategic areas: implementing policy and regulatory changes, developing individualized services and supports, creating financing strategies, providing workforce training and development, and generating stakeholder support. Rather than serving as an evaluation mechanism, this resource is designed as a technical assistance tool to identify organizational strengths and opportunities.
