Emily Aron, MD, is a Child, Adolescent and Adult psychiatrist and an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Georgetown University Medical Center. Dr. Aron has a particular interest in prevention and health promotion as it applies to mental health. She teaches medical students, residents and fellows on a range of topics in psychiatry and has expertise in treating a range of diagnoses and symptoms in children and adults of all ages.
Dr. Aron is experienced in multiple therapy modalities including those that focus on prevention and alleviating symptoms of trauma for children and adults. Additionally, Dr. Aron provides services in historically marginalized community settings focusing on trauma and resilience while also addressing social determinants of mental health and advocating for social justice.
